The D'Orsi Bakery in Peabody is a large retail and
commercial building currently occupied and operating. The owner approached Dean Associates
Architects to produce a study addressing the potential addition of several floors of housing
above the existing ground floor functions.
The design produced showed 15 apartment units on three floors with new balconies, vertical
access and support spaces. The owner is currently developing his business plan to address the
financial feasibility of the project.
