Towering above it's neighbors in East Boston,
this 120 foot tall structure sits empty on Norfolk Street. The structure is
a former storage ice facility for the Boston Ice Company and is open from top
to bottom on the inside.
Dean Associates Architects produced a survey, preliminary code analysis, and schematic
design drawings for the adaptive re-use of the building providing ground floor parking and 7 floors of
artist loft apartments.
The project is currently under feasibility review
by the Boston Redevelopment Authority.
