This single family home, a former cottage in Revere
has a spectacular view of the ocean from the front. The owners hoped to expand their home
while enhancing their outdoor relaxation and entertaining space, however the project
was prohibited by existing Revere Zoning Bylaws.
Dean Associates Architects designed a large addition to the home with a spectacular roof deck
, then presented their proposal to the board of zoning appeals. A special permit
and deed amendment was granted and the project was built in the summer of 2007.
